DocumentMaster's scalable, modular design allows customers to select fromseveral modules to create affordable systems that meet their specificneeds. The basic system provides economical, efficient facilities forstoring, retrieving, searching, viewing and printing image-baseddocuments. Add-on modules enhance the basic system`s ability to manageand retrieve documents.The full-text module allows documents to be retrieved by searching forwords or text phrases contained in the documents. Hyperlinks in theindex-text allow images to be viewed, showing drawings, pictures and anyhandwritten notes.The keyword module allows abstracts (database entries) to be created fordocuments in the system. These abstracts may be used to store additionalinformation about the document, which may be search. Hyperlinks in theabstracts allow the document to be easily retrieved.The object module allows related files from varied applications to begrouped together into a single logical document. This lofical documentmay then be manipulated in the system like an ordinary file.
